Mary Sexton, 79, of Jackhorn passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Mary was the daughter of the late Clifton and Elsie Stewart Meade. She was the widow of Denver Sexton. Surviving is 5 brothers: Everett Meade, Coy Meade, Claude Meade all of Deane, Gary Meade of Pike County, and Denver Meade of Deane; 1 sister: Janet Baker of Cromona; 3 grandchildren: Tabitha Sexton, Jody Sexton, Aaron Sexton; 3 great grandchildren: Colton, Avery, and Gavin. Mary was preceded in death by 4 sons: Randall Sexton, Timothy Sexton, Gregory Sexton, and Mark Sexton; 1 brother: James Meade; 2 sisters: Billy Jean Short and Brenda Fields. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Neon First Church of Christ with Johnnie King, Brad Taylor, and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Neon Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky.
