Pollyanna (Mounts) Slone

Pollyanna Slone (Nana) 58, wife of Bill Slone passed away after a long illness at Baptist Health Lexington, Ky on November 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. 

Born in Martin, Ky on November 10,  1960, she was the daughter of Eunice Rose Hall Mounts and Tommy Mounts.  Pollyanna was a graduate of Tates Creek High School and had just retired from The Kentucky Department of Revenue Central Kentucky Taxpayer Service Center.  In 1983 Pollyanna married the love of her life Bill Slone.  Pollyanna was preceded in death by her parents.  In addition to her husband she leaves behind to cherish her memory, two siblings,  Johnny Harve Mounts (Melissa), Francine Rose Thompson (Mike); a nephew Michael Winston (Melissa) Thompson; a niece Lindsay Rose (Emery) Mast; four nieces Makenzie, Makayla, and Mallori Thompson, and Emerson Rose Slone Mast; and a host of family and good friends.  

Visitation will be at the Little Colley Baptist Church Isom, Ky from 6 pm - 9 pm on Monday November 26, 2018.  Funeral will be at the church on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at 11:00 am conducted by Pastor Buford Combs.  Burial will follow at the Adkins Cemetery in Isom, Ky.

Pallbearers will be David Combs, Judge Jim Ward, Tyler Ward, Charlie Hatton, Mike Thompson, Michael Thompson, Terry Taylor,  Emery Mast and John Corey Taylor.
