Ricky Allen Campbell, 60, of Linefork passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 after a long illness of battling black lung at the University of Kentucky Medical Center at Lexington, Kentucky. Rick was a member of the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Bethel "Panhandle" Campbell and Imogene Bowling Campbell. Surviving is his wife: Darlene Coots Campbell; 2 sons: Christopher Campbell of Gordon and Joey Campbell of Linefork; 1 stepson: Terry Lee Siler Jr. of Cumberland; 2 stepdaughters: Crystal Franks of Linefork and Ashley Sumner and husband Josh of Vicco; 3 sisters; Marsha and husband Richard Blair of Letcher, Frances Amburgey of Linefork, and Myra and husband Eugene Collins of Linefork; 12 grandchildren: Dalton, Vicky Lynn, Hunter, Lucas, Raley, Michael, Carter, Kaylee, Lila, Paisley, JayJay, and Trevor; special little buddy Terry and wife Doddie Adams of Baxter along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Rick was preceded in death by 1 sister: Shelia Caudill Sexton. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Elwood Cornett, Jim Fields, Scotty Halcomb, Squire Watts, and Eddie Creech officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Ray Campbell Family Cemetery at Linefork, Kentucky.
