Roger Wayne Stephens, 68, of Isom passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. Roger was the son of the late James E. and Dorothy M. Polly Stephens. Surviving is his wife: Katy Gibson Stephens; 1 son: Roger M. Stephens of Isom; 2 daughters: Tonya McCown of Isom and Amanda Sturgill (Chris) of Isom; 1 brother: Robert W. Stephens (Theresa) of Westland, Michigan; 2 sisters: Cathy Blackston (Don) of Southgate, Michigan and Carol S. Breeding (Tim) of Isom; 7 grandchildren: Dalton McCown, Kaci McCown, Hank Stephens, Mason Stephens, Harley Driskell, Chloe Sturgill, and Colt Sturgill. special friends: Johnny Isom, Glennis Morris, Roger Gilliam, and Warren Amburgey. Roger was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Donna Mae Stephens and Mildred Kincaid; 4 brothers: Harold C. Stephens, Kenneth C. Stephens, James M. Stephens, and Henry L. Stephens. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Glennis Morris, Jack Howard, Johnny Isom, and J.M. Sloce officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
