Russell Blair

Russell Blair, 69, of Jeremiah entered eternal rest on August 17, 2018 at the Norton Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Arlie Blair and Mollie Gay Whitaker Blair. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie Adams Blair; 1 son: Christopher Russell (Chris Blair and wife Heather Blair of Fairview Heights, Illinois; 1 grandson: Austin H. Blair; 1 brother: Arlin J. Blair and wife Terrie of Jenkins; 2 aunts: Goldie Cornett of Hallie and Berma Matthews of Letcher; 1 uncle: Olan Whitaker; 4 nieces: Balisa Baker Southworth, Crystal Nichols Weldon, Dawn Nichols Cowan, and Kelli Nichols; 6 nephews: Tim Back, Sean Blair, Brandon Baker, Brian Baker, Justin Blair, and Brian Blair along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Russell was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Deanna Back and Janet (Nichols) Blair; 1 brother: David M. Blair; 1 nephew: Lenny Back. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church with Caleb Combs and Allen Meyers officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Jeremiah Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Lewis Back Cemetery at Letcher, Kentucky.
