Sammy "Bicycle Sam" Taulbee was born on July 4, 1940 and departed this life on July 5, 2019 at the Hazard ARH at Hazard, Kentucky. He was 79 years of age at the time of his passing. He was the son of the late Harvey and Hattie Taulbee. Sammy enjoyed playing his guitar and riding his bike to Isom to see all of his friends and visiting. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Ransom, Dump and sister: Anna Lee. Surviving is his brother: Bill (Diane) Taulbee of Tiffin, Ohio; special cousins who took care of him: Susan, Donald and her daughter, Chris, Wayne, Mike, Jan, Jennifer, and Tim. The family would like to especially thank everyone that showed Sammy love and kindness through out his life with food, money, etc. just simply to be good to him. He will be greatly missed in our community of Isom. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Sexton and Benny Pugh officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Babe Ison Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
