Scottie Short Obituary

Scottie Joe Short, 42, of Mayking, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his residence. Scottie was the son of Alice Sturgill Short and the late Claude Short. Surviving other than his mother are 3 sons: Caleb Short, Nathan Short, and Nigel Short; 4 brothers: Claude Short, Conley Short, Verlin Short, and James Sturgill; 3 sisters: Rena Lou Brashear and Christy Short; 2 grandchildren. Funeral services for Scottie will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Highway Holiness Church with Micah Golden and Ronnie Turner officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00-10:00 PM at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery in Mayking, Ky.
