Shirley Arroz, 75, of Mayking, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Shirley was the daughter of the late John Frank and Irene Wright Gilbert. She was the widow of Vincent Claridad Arroz. Surviving is 3 sons: Vincent Brian Arroz (Chanda) of South Carolina, Keith William Arroz (Dana) of South Carolina, and Erik Wayne Arroz of Whitesburg; 1 daughter: Alisa Suslikova of Lexington; 1 brother: Sam Gilbert of Eolia; 1 sister: Jean Gilbert of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren: Chasen Arroz, Gracelyn Arroz, Laykin Arroz, and Dylan Tackitt. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
