Wanda Faye Mowery, 80, of Thomson, Georgia formerly of Thornton passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the University of McDuffie Hospital in Thomas, Georgia. Faye was the daughter of the late James Corbit and Sarah Lowe Stidham. Surviving is her husband: Georgia Gene Mowery; 2 daughters: Shirley Maxie of Thomson, Georgia and Linda Mullins of Jenkins; 2 brothers: Harold Stidham of Thornton and James Stidham of London; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Howard officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
