William Douglas Cole, 82, of Blackey passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Veterans Center in Hazard, Kentucky. William was the son of the late Rex and Thelma Dunn Cole. Surviving is 1 brother: Clifton Cole of Blackey; 4 sisters: Billie Ann Thomas of Tell City, Indiana, Phyllis Mitchell of Gaston, Alabama, Marquetta Lokai of Dayton, Ohio, and Susie Miller of Mt. Sterling. William was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Sherman Cole, Freddie Cole, and Buddy Cole; 1 sister: Jackie Butcher. Funeral: 7:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Caleb Combs officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Jeff Ison Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
