Wilma Miles Obituary

Wilma D. Miles, 74 of Isom, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at her residence. Wilma was the daughter of the late Amos and Ruby Pennington Curtis. Surviving is 2 sons: Bobby Ray Hicks of Tampa, Florida and Paul Dean Hicks of Isom; 1 daughter: Martha Jane Mullins of Millstone; 7 brothers: Franklin Levi Curtis of Morehead, James Hazel Brown of Gordon, Lloyd Curtis Jr. of Morehead, Elbert Lee Brown of Florida, Phillip Leonard Brown of Florida, Anthony Wayne Brown of Ohio, and Thurman Edward Brown of Paintsville; 6 sisters: Emma Jean Smith of Tampa, Florida, Virginia Ray Greathouse of Paintsville, Peggy Stewart of Paintsville, Priscilla Manns of Ezel, Pauline Williamson of Pikeville, and Alfredia Webb of Paintsville; 17 grandchildren along with a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Wilma was preceded in death by 1 son: James Vernon Hicks; 1 daughter: Donna K. Hicks; 1 great grandchild. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Seco Pentecostal Church with Ted Collins and others officiating. Visitation: 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the Seco Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Hatfield Cemetery at Trace Fork, Kentucky.
