Alfred Hall

Alfred Hall, of Deane, loving and devoted husband and father entered into his heavenly home on May 4 2020 at the age of 84, surrounded by his adoring family. Alfred was the son of Will and Birdie Waddles Hall. He was preceded in death by Janice Ratliff Hall, his loving wife, Miranda Nicole Johnson-Shuber, beloved daughter, Verlis and Diamond Hall brothers, Ova Price, Iva Ratliff and Mae Combs sisters.

Alfred is survived by 5 children Debra Jo (Donald) Collins of Deane, Brenda Hall (Gary Watkins) of Deane, Beverly Ann Hall of Deane, Taylor Johnson (Lexington). Makaley Johnson (Lexington); 9 grandchildren Christy, Shawn, Melissa, Brandy, Jody, Caleb, Joshua, Megan, Tate; 8 great grandchildren Charley, Cheyenne, Gavin, Cody, Chloe, MaShaya, Caymen, Gavin, Camilla, Ryker, Amarah, Sawyer; 1 sister Mildred Blanton. Alfred will also be mourned by his dearest friends in life Bobby Hoover and Danny Hurst.

Alfred was a longtime member of the Hemphill Baptist church where he devoted his life to serving the Lord and his community. Alfred was a truly selfless man putting the needs of others before himself. Throughout his life there wasn’t a job too difficult for him to master construction, machining, auto mechanic, carpentry, mining, and many others he had a role in where all completed under his steadfast hands which demanded nothing but perfection.
