Allene Faye (Smith) Cornett

Allene Faye Cornett, 60 of Blackey, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Allene was the daughter of the late Bessel and Nora Smith. She was the widow of Wilson Cornett Jr. Surviving is 1 son: Matthew Cornett; 2 brothers: Tilvis "Tilk" Smith and Allen Smith; 1 sister: Mildred Smith; 2 grandchildren: Zackary Cornett and Olivia Cornett along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Allene was preceded in death by 1 son: David Fields; 1 brother: Mason Smith; 1 sister: Fredia Cornett. Funeral 11:00 O'clock A.M. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Robert Halcomb and others officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Cornett and Tackett Cemetery at Roxana, Kentucky.
