Anna Sue (Holbrook) Cornett

Anna Sue Cornett, 79 of Whitesburg, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Greg and Noreen Well Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. Anna was the daughter of the late Booker and Sarah Holbrook. She is survived by her husband: Shelby Cornett; 2 daughters: Libby (John) Holbrook of Neon and Charolett (Phillip) Polly of Mayking; 2 step sons: Sam (Mary) Cornett and Danny Cornett; 3 brothers: Charles Holbrook of Dry Fork, David Holbrook of Kingdom Come, and Burt Holbrook of Whitaker; 4 grandchildren: Charles Polly, Rachel Polly, Amanda Mason, and Phoenix Deanna Faye Polly; 2 sisters-in-law: Donna Holbrook and Bonnie Holbrook along with a host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing. Anna was preceded in death by a son: Dewayne Cornett; 2 brothers: JB Holbrook and Henry Holbrook; 2 sisters: Till Campbell and Opal Cornett; 2 sisters-in-law: Donnita Holbrook and Stella Holbrook. Funeral: 12:00 PM noon Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with John Holbrook officiating. Visitation: 6:00-10:00 PM Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Ermine, Ky.
