Anna Ruth Caudill, 70 of Elk Creek, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center. Anna was the daughter of the late Charles Hayes and Georgia Pearl Whitaker Nichols. Surviving is her husband: Merle Caudill; 2 daughters: Katherine Riley (Matt) Wingate of Richmond and Erin Elizabeth (William) Pollard of Corbin; 4 brothers: George Charles (Linda) Nichols of Jackson, Tennessee, William Thomas (Deborah) Nichols of Letcher, John Paul (Rhonda) Nichols of Mayking and Keven Hayes (Leigh) Nichols of Blackey; 6 grandchildren: Chloe Emerson Pollard, Kennedi Jo Blair, Channing Amera Pollard, Maggie Grace Wingate, Matthew Boone Wingate and Lincoln Maddox Pollard; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby Caudill, Jerry (Yvonne) Caudill, Billie Jo Caudill and Phyllis (Steve) Adams along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Anna was preceded in death by a son: Adam Layne Caudill; 1 sister: Deborah Marlene Caudill. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, January 15, 2024 at the Saving Grace Community Church with Greg Pridemore and Cody Kiser officiating. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
