Arnetta Mae Slone, 81 of Jeremiah, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Mae was the daughter of the late Arnold and Susan Adams Back. She was the widow of Glen Slone. Surviving is 2 daughters: Lana (K.P.) Pridemore and Glenna Quillen all of Jeremiah; 1 brother: Oscar Gideon Back of Jeremiah; 3 sisters: Fanny Banks of Jeremiah, Nancy Combs of Hazard, and Anna Lou Hancock of Winchester; 1 special granddaughter: Amanda (Kenny) Griffie; 6 grandchildren: Rebecca, Leslie, Amber, April, Alecia, and Austin; 9 great grandchildren. Mae was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Joanie Branock; 2 grandchildren: Keith Pridemore and Jared Pridemore; son-in-law: Donald Quillen. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Blair Branch Church with Toby Breeding, Danny Dixon, Robert Holcomb, Don Pratt, and Willie Crase officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Monday at the Blair Branch Church. Burial will follow in the John C. Adams at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
