Audry Bates

Audry Bates, 83, of Crafts Colley passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at her residence. Audry was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lydia Lucas Banks. She is the widow of James Edward Bates. She was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are 1 son: Tony (Lisa) Bates of Ermine; 1 daughter: Sharon (Craig) McFarland Reynolds of Mayking; 1 brother: Fred Banks of Paintsville; 5 sisters: Lorene Blair of Crafts Colley, Janice Slone of Mayking, Betty Lucas of Thornton, Charlotte McDougal of Cowan, Geraldine Miles of Thornton; 1 granddaughter: Brooke Bates along with a host of nieces and nephews family and friends to mourn her passing. Audry was preceded in death by 1 sister: Katherine Jones and her 2nd husband Otis Craft. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel 6:00 P.M. Thursday.
