Ava Lee (Holbrook) Oliver

Ava Lee Oliver, 82 of Goose Creek, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ava was the daughter of the late William Oliver and Bryda Yonts Holbrook. She was the widow of Russell Oliver. Ava was a member of the Goose Creek Church of Christ. Surviving is 1 son: Joseph (Amanda) Oliver of Goose Creek; 3 brothers: Bill Holbrook of McRoberts, Oliver Holbrook and Kenneth Holbrook both of Goose Creek; 4 sisters: Mary Kilgore of Goose Creek, Eunice Tolliver of Jackhorn, Bessie Yonts of McRoberts and Theresa Bentley of Hemphill; 4 very special grandchildren: Bryda, Nora, Ariana and Joseph along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family to mourn her passing. Ava was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Bennie Holbrook and Charles Doug Holbrook. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Holbrook and Kenneth Holbrook II officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Yonts Holbrook Cemetery at Goose Creek, Kentucky.
