Benny Ray Cornett

Benny Ray Cornett, 65 of Dry Fork, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Benny was the son of the late Kinard and Mattie Marie Fields Cornett. Surviving is 3 sisters: Terrie Riber (Dan), Cleo Cornett and Patty Cornett along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews to mourn his passing. Benny was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Clifton Cornett, Kenneth Cornett and Steven Cornett; 3 sisters: Pauline Cornett Adams, Ella Jo Weaver and Robin Miller. Funeral: 5:00 O'clock P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Charlie Campbell officiating.
