Bernita Joan (Hall) Slone

Bernita Joan Slone, 80 of Ermine, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Joan was the daughter of the late Alex and Maggie Blair Hall. Joan was the widow of Carlos "Woody" Slone. Joan was a member of Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving is 1 son: Rodney (Lisa) Slone of Ermine; 1 daughter: Janet (Gary) Hall of Thornton; 1 sister: Gertrude Barnett of Ermine; 3 grandchildren: Jake (Megan) Hall, Max (Emily) Hall and Brandon Slone; 1 great granddaughter: Laci Kate Hall. Joan was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bruce Hall; 3 sisters: Lily Mae Jones, Ruth Collins and Mary Ann Owens; 1 granddaughter: Kaci LeeAnn Hall. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
