Bertha Turner, 81 of Linefork, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Tri Cities Nursing Home. Bertha was the daughter of the late Jonah and Lona Cornett Roark. She was the widow of Walter Turner. Bertha enjoyed gardening, fishing and her bluegrass music. Surviving is 1 son: Michael Odell Turner of Linefork; 1 daughter: Glenda Sue Tolliver of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; 4 brothers: Carl David Roark of Indiana, Garland Roark of Indiana, Lonnie Roark of Topeka, Kansas and Daniel Roark of Indiana; 1 sister: Chenilla Roark of Indiana; 6 grandchildren: Darneshia, Tosha, Chasity, Mikey, Tyler, and Jaxon; 7 great grandchildren: Mason, Isaiah, Natalie, Jaylee, Clayton, Courtney and Ian. Bertha was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Curliss Roark, Hayston Roark and Tommy Roark. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Defeated Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Roger Fields and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Defeated Creek Old Regular Baptist Church and all day Thursday at the Church. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Linefork, Kentucky.
