Bertie Blair, 75 of Jeremiah, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Bertie was the daughter of the late Edley and Leona Caudill Hampton. Surviving is her husband: Gideon Douglas Blair; 2 sons: Richard Blair and William Douglas Blair both of Jeremiah; 1 daughter: Frances Blair of Jeremiah; 1 brother: Steve Pena of Watertown, New York; 1 sister: Margaret Whitaker of Jeremiah. Bertie was preceded in death by 1 son: Carl Eugene Blair; 1 grandchild: Jeffrey Douglas Blair; 1 brother: Johnny Caudill. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Melton, Roy Slone, Mike Slone, Wayne Smith, Jim Fields, and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
