Bessie Raye (Tilley) Tibbs

Bessie Raye Tibbs, 87 of Neon, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home. Bessie was the daughter of the late William "Buzz" and Imogene Phillips Tilley. Surviving is her husband: Howard Tibbs; 4 sons: Donnie Ray (Tina) Quillen of Middletown, Ohio, Billy Joe (Andrea) Quillen of Neon, Josh (Michelle) Tibbs of South Carolina and Abraham (Angel) Tibbs of Hamilton, Ohio; 3 brothers: George (Katrina) Tilley, Sam (Deeda) Tilley and Eddie (Karen) Tillie; 2 sisters: Judy Miller and Frances (Noah) Champion; 1 grandchild: Savannah (Matt) McGraw; 1 great grandchild: Eli Rittenhouse; nieces: Flo Stamper, Josephine Adams and Ernestine Tilley. Bessie was preceded in death by a son: Jimmy Quillen. Funeral: 4:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Neon First Church of God with Mark Wagner officiating. Visitation: 1:00 O'clock P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Neon First Church of God. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, Ohio.
