Betty left this world a better place through her love and compassion for others and animals. Along with being a published author and exceptional cook, Betty was highly accomplished in the arts of knitting, crocheting, and quilting and enjoyed teaching others these skills. Betty was always willing to help those in need and fed and clothed many less fortunate people in the area.  Special mention to her Godparents Bruce and Rebecca Oliver and her stepson Lewis Beckham “LB” Bates.  Although Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends, her efforts to mentor, teach, and guide others in the way of the Lord will live past her days in this world.
