Betty Ann (Boggs) Mitchell

Betty Ann Mitchell, 69 of Ermine, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Betty was the daughter of the late Dillard and Mary Ann Hendrix Boggs. Surviving is her husband: Raymond Lee Mitchell; 2 sons: Steven Dewayne (Stephanie) Mitchell of Knott County and Richard Lee Mitchell of Ermine; 1 sister: Barbara (Buddy) Collins of Little Colley; 3 grandchildren: Nicholas Ray Mitchell, Zachery Ryan Mitchell, and Lillian Faith Mitchell along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Betty was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Jewels Boggs, J.L. Boggs, John Boggs, Eugene Boggs, Ralph Boggs, and Jimmy Boggs. Funeral 2:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Way of The Cross Ministries with John Sizemore officiating. Visitation 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Way of The Cross Ministries. Burial will follow in the Boggs, Mitchell, and Collins Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
