Betty Jo Taylor, 76 of Whitesburg, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Betty was the daughter of the late Homer and Bertha Vance Taylor. Surviving is 1 grandchild: Whitney (Jarrod) Lumpkins; 1 great grandchild: Jakobe Lumpkins; 1 son-in-law: Rulah Adams; 1 brother: Henry (Dixie) Taylor of Ohio; 1 sister: Virginia Faye (Arnold) Weaver of Whitesburg; nephew: James Allen; niece: LaShay Day along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Betty was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Georgia Adams; 1 brother: Ricky Dean Taylor; 1 sister: Bonita Sergent; 1 nephew: Jason Hall. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
