Bill Wayne Adams, 81 of Mayking, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Bill was the son of the late Orville and Roxie Kincer Adams. He was the widower of Hannah Wright Adams. Surviving is 3 sons: David (Mary Elkins) Adams of Georgetown, Samuel (Donna Shinn) Adams of Longwood, Florida and Jason (Erica Hatfield) Adams of Mallie; 1 brother: George Michael Adams of Chicago; 2 sisters-in-law: Julie Adams and Mary Adams; 8 grandchildren: Deforest (Jennifer Tucker) Adams, Samuel Colton Adams, Donald Wayne Adams, Lucy Abigail Adams, Claire Adams, Audrey (Rob) Smith, Miguel Adams and Grayson Adams; 1 great grandchild: Carlie Lillian. Bill was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Robert Gene (Rose Wright) Adams, Eddie (Dottie Polly) Adams, Jim Adams, Elmer (Linda) Adams, Roger Adams and Orville Adams, Jr.; 4 sisters: Ivel Buckley, Sara Gonzales, Joyce Mann and Jenny (Henry) Bowlsby. Funeral: 10:00 O'clock A.M. Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Allen officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mose Adams Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
