Bill J. Collier of Eolia passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020, with his family by his side.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Margaret Fisher Collier.
He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Alyce (Jimmy) Craft, two grandchildren, Rebecca (Calviston) Cook, and James "Trey" Craft (fiancee Tayler Fleming) and two great-grandchildren, Rhiannon and Rosanna Cook.
Bill was the son of Curtis and Polly Collier. He was a brother to Betty Terry and Judy Corder and was blessed with a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved early.
Bill attended Franks Creek Church where he taught Sunday School for over sixty years. He served over fifty years as a director on the Board at Community Trust Bank. He was a past member of the Lion's Club. He owned and operated Collier's Grocery and was a respected member of the Eolia community.
He loved, and was loved, by many. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Crabtree and John L Collins officiating. Visitation: 6:00-9:00 PM Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Collier Cemetery at Eolia.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Franks Creek Church.
