Brent Ward

Brent Ward, 55 of Jeremiah, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Brent was the son of the late Calvin Andrew and Louise Ellis Ward. Surviving is his wife: Vette Ward; 1 daughter: Grace of Jeremiah; 4 brothers: Harry Nelson (Rosamond) Ward of Vicco, Calvin Douglas (Shirley) Ward of Seymour, Indiana, Denver Scott (Teresa) Ward of Vicco, and James Tyler (Joan) Ward of Sandlick; 4 sisters: Bobbie Jean Bevins of Georgetown, Carolyn Faye (Bumper) Adams of Letcher, Judy Kaye Ward of Georgetown, and Linda Sue (Woodrow) Allen of Georgetown; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Lois and Lovell Blair of Jeremiah; brother-in-law and sister-in law: Larry and Kathlene Blair of Millstone along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Brent was preceded in death by 1 sister: Phyllis Dean Stidham and 1 brother-in-law: Charles T. Bevins. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church with Bill Jones officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church, Burial will follow in the Burton Hill Cemetery at Letcher, Kentucky.
