Burgess Van Napier, 73 of Whitesburg, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Burgess was the son of the late Earl "R.J." and Mary Ann Mullins Napier. Surviving is his wife: Ava Katherine Napier; 3 brothers: Johnny Wayne Napier of Little Cowan, Kyle Lynn Napier of Jenkins, and Mark Allen Napier of Mayking; 1 sister: Terena Ann Profitt of Campbranch along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Burgess was preceded in death by 1 sister: Alice Boggs. Funeral 11:00 O'clock A.M. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Mullins officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fields and Day Cemetery at Whitesburg, Kentucky.
