Carolyn Faye (Ward) Adams

Carolyn Faye Adams, 80, of Letcher passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at her residence. Carolyn was the daughter of the late Calvin and Louise Ward. Surviving is her husband George David (Bumper) Adams of Letcher; 2 daughters: Kristi Williams of Whitesburg and Lori Boggs of Letcher; son-in-law: Fritz Boggs of Letcher; 3 grandchildren: Quentin Williams of Whitesburg; Tevin Williams of Mayking; Arlee Boggs of Letcher; 4 brothers: Harry (Rosamond) Ward of Vicco; Doug (Shirley) Ward of Indiana; Denny (Teresa) Ward of Vicco; Jim (Joan) Ward of Whitesburg; 2 sisters: Judy Ward of Georgetown and Sue Allen of Georgetown. Carolyn is preceded in death by 1 brother: Brent Ward; 2 sisters: Bobbie Bevins and Phyllis Stidham; 1 grandson: Easton James; 1st husband: James "Little Duck" Gibson; Mother and Father in Law: Bill and Joyce Adams. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church with Bill Jones, Jimmy Dotson and Tim Ison officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Burton Hill Cemetery.
