Clarence Turman Carter of Eolia passed away Wednesday April 29, 2020 at the Norton Community Hospital. Clarence was the son of the late Turman and Mary Sturgill Carter. He was the widower of Wilma Earlene Sturgill Carter. Surviving are 2 Daughters: Kathy (Harold) Kilbourne of Wise Virginia; Lisa Hampton of Eolia; 1 Brother: Richard Carter of Eolia; 2 Grandchildren: Jr (Donna) Hampton; Jeffrey Kilbourne; Special Brother-In-Law: Johnny D. Sturgill; 2 Great Grandchildren: Addie Hampton; Jack Phelps. He was preceded in death by 1 brother: James Guy Sturgill; 1 sister: Lana Caroline Creech; Son-In-Law: Jim Hampton. Funeral services will be private.
