Connie Jean Cook passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 78 at the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, Kentucky leaving behind 5 daughters: Teresa Comley of Colson, Elaine and Jeff Adams of Premium, Shurleen Sexton of Little Colley, Marlene Hall of Little Colley, Lisa Cook and Grayson of Little Colley; brothers: Norman Sexton and wife Wilma of Low Gap Branch, Boliver Sexton and Jeanette of Little Colley, Oliver Sexton and Brenda of Eolia, Frances and Jan Sexton of Eolia; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren who loved her dearly along with a host of family and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Ray Cook, sons: Ricky Ray Cook, and Billy Wayne Sexton; grandsons: Justin Sturgill, Cody Blair, and Isaiah Sturgill; parents: Preacher John Sexton and wife Minnie; sisters: Nora Logan, Linda Sue Humphrey, Stella Burns, and Reda Burns; brothers: Tro Sexton, Gene Sexton, Jerry Sexton, Larry Sexton, and Kernal Dean Sexton.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the Lighthouse Church with Glen Gross officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Lighthouse Church. Burial will follow in the Colson Cemetery at Colson, Kentucky.
