Cora Lou (Sexton) Adams

Cora Lou Adams, 87 of Isom, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Cora was the daughter of the late Ed and Ruby Combs Sexton. She was the widow of Steve Adams. Surviving are 6 children: Deborah Grigsby of Hazard, Jennifer Adams of Isom, Kenny (Amanda) Adams of Georgetown, Connie Blair of Jeremiah, Joann Baker of Whitesburg, and Marty (Judy) Adams of Jeremiah; 3 brothers: Van Sexton of Addiston, Alabama, Jack Sexton of Iowa, and Henry Sexton of Lexington; 2 sisters: Barb Patrick of Springfield, Ohio and Paulette Hunt of Island Lake, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Cora was preceded in death by 1 brother: Billy Ray Sexton; 2 sisters: Sadie Haggard and Dicie Ellen Profitt. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 O'clock A.M. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
