Curtis Cornett Jr., 53 of Dry Fork, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Curtis was born June 26, 1968 to Curtis Sr. and the late Opal Holbrook Cornett. He is survived by his father: Curtis Sr. and stepmother: Leslie; 2 daughters: Brianna (Bobby) Shepherd and Alexis Fields of Mayking; 3 grandchildren: Lukas, Bella and Mason; 3 special sisters: Missy Campbell of Dry Fork, Kara (Dakota) Hernandez of Neon and Madi Collins of Dry Fork. Curtis was preceded in death by his grandparents: Noah and Zola Cornett and Sarah and Jesse (Booker) Holbrook. Curt Jr. loved to collect knives, hats and other collectibles. He had a passion for drawing and Conway Twitty music. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Howard, Charlie Campbell and Bobby Howard officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Dry Fork, Kentucky.
