Curtis Cash Halcomb, 11 of Blackey, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Surviving is his special mom/nanny: Ann Halcomb; paps: Jimmy Cornett; father: Ricky Halcomb; mother: April Halcomb; 2 sisters: Sonya “Nana” Mullins and Tammy “Nauntie” Stamper; 2 brothers: Axel Halcomb and Daniel Sexton; 1 uncle: Donnie Halcomb; 2 aunts: Shelia Walters (Danny Warf) and Laynette (Danny) Collier; special cousins and their families: Curtis “Curt Curt” Cornett, Keyia "Sissy" Cornett, Whitney “Whit Whit” Cornett, Hailey “Ailey” Madden, and Shawn “Bub” Stamper along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Cash was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Curt and Thelma Halcomb; maternal grandparents: Greg and Shelia Halcomb; 1 brother: Jacob Sexton. Funeral 1:00 O’clock P.M. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon and Wallace Bolling officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Halcomb Family Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
