Cynthia (Mullins) Whitehead

Cynthia Whitehead, 82 of Redstar, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Cynthia was the daughter of the late Charlie Mullins and Emaline Fugate. She was the widow of Bascum Whitehead. Surviving is 3 daughters: Teresa (Mitchell) Blair, Kaye Back and Anita Whitehead (Willie Cornett); 1 brother: Donald Townsley of Winchester, Tennessee; 1 grandson: Brandon Blair; 2 great grandchildren: Cassidy Blair and Lilee Caudill along with a host nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Cynthia was preceded in death by her stepmother: Thelma Mullins; her husband: Bascum Whitehead; 1 sister: Rosetta Estill; 2 brothers: Arnold Mullins and Norman Mullins; son-in-law: Gid Back. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Dixon, Phillip Smith and Loran Sturgill officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitehead Cemetery at Redstar, Kentucky.
