Dallas Glen Monroe

Dallas Glen Monroe, 66 of Thornton, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Dallas was the son of the late Jerry Meade and Eloise Monroe. He was the widower of Loretta Holbrook Monroe. Surviving are 3 sons: Travis Monroe of Lexington, Dallas Lee (Roxie Bentley) Monroe of Neon, and Bobby (Stacy) Monroe of Thornton; 3 brothers: Carlos Monroe of Iron Station, NC, Dwight Goins of Lucasville, OH, and Norman Monroe of Jenkins; 1 sister: Cheryl Monroe of Deane; 6 grandchildren: Zacherey, Dylan, Tyler, Keithlon, Bethany, and Malachai along with other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral: 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 6:00-10:00 PM Monday and Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Thornton, Ky.
