Danny Wright, 74 of Blackey, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Danny was the son of the late Denton and Leora Webb Wright. Surviving is his wife: Sandra Whitaker Wright; 2 daughters: Michelle (Tony) Michell and Crystal Wright; 2 stepdaughters: Brooke (Kevin) Dunn and Katie (James) Owens 2 stepsons: Anthony Stewart (Shannon) Cowden and Charles Wayne Cowden; 1 brother: Dale (Cindy) Wright; grandchildren: Larken Mitchell, Cari Rice (Tony), Brett Mitchell, Daniel Adams, Conner Adams, Annabella Adams, Asher and Liam Cowden, Spencer Dunn, Cassandra Dunn, Alexis Owens and Timothy Owens; great grandchild: Jensen Rice. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Greg Whitaker officiating. Visitation: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
