Darrell Lee Shepherd

Darrell Lee Shepherd, 76 of Smoot Creek, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Darrell was the son of the late Astor and Alvania Fields Shepherd. Surviving is 1 sister: Barbara (Ben) Eldridge of Kingscreek; sister-in-law: Patty Shepherd of Smoot Creek; special niece: Missy; nieces: Tammy and Tosha; nephews: Michael, Mark, Byron and Brian along with a host of great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Darrell was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Gary and Tony; 1 sister: Debbie Engle. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Collins officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
