David Keith "Groundhog" Slone

David Keith Slone, 61 of Ran Day Hollow on Cowan, Kentucky, entered eternal life on April 26, 2023. He was the son of Inife Fred and Velma Slone. He was born March 15, 1962. He is survivied by his loving wife of 44 years: Deborah Sexton Slone, a daughter: Bridgette (James Stallard) of Little Colley, Kentucky, 2 sons: Jerome (Justa) Slone of Jenkins, Kentucky, and Patrick (Sara) Slone of Cowan, Kentucky, 7 grandchildren: Makayla Slone, Keaston Stallard, Destiny Slone, Khloe Slone, Hunter Slone, Logan Slone, and Ariel Price, 2 nieces: Brandy Beardon, and Brittany Clemons, 1 nephew: Brandon Fields along with a host of family and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Whitney, brother: Eddie Slone, sister: Teresa Wooton, and a grandbaby: Rayen Slone. David was a truck driver for 45 years. The last 20 years he drove for Larry M. Wright Trucking. He loved spending time with his grandkids, hunting, and raising a garden. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Sunday, April 14, 2023 at the Cowan Community Center.
