Debbie Ann Calhoun

Debbie Ann Calhoun of Jenkins, Kentucky passed from this world to her heavenly home on April 9, 2023.  Debbie was the daughter of the late John and Clara Ruth Connor Minth. Surviving is her husband: Harry Lee Calhoun; 1 son: John (Tara) Calhoun of Elizabethtown; 1 daughter: Jessica (Justin) Branham of Jenkins; 3 sisters: Cindy Minth of Ohio, Patricia Robinson of Frankfort and Berneda Polly of Jenkins; 5 grandchildren: Paisley, Harrison, Greyson, Easton and Kadence. Debbie was preceded in death by her twin brother: David Minth; brother: John Minth; 2 sisters: Donna Lysyj and Jackie Taylor. Debbie had previously worked at Appalachian Regional Hospital for 23 years as a Registered Nurse where she devoted the majority of her time in the Emergency Room. Debbie was a member of the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed creating special memories for her family, especially her grandchildren. If you spent any time with her at all you know how much she loved Christmas and decorating her home to celebrate the holiday season. Debbie loved to quilt, work with flowers, can foods, and was always eager to share with you a new recipe that she had been working on. She devoted her life to caring for her family and the life others. Her impact will be felt for generations. Funeral 7:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Peake officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
