Deborah Ann Adams, 74 of Thornton, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Deborah was the daughter of the late Dock and Goldie Lucas Sergent. Surviving is her husband of 59 years: John Wayne Adams; 1 son: Matthew Brett (Christie) Adams of Kingdome Come Creek; 3 grandchildren: Makenzie Adams of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, Kellie Adams of Kingdome Come, and Destany Cornett (Byron Barker) of Kingdome Come Creek; 2 great grandchildren: Bryson Paul Barker and her little fat baby: Hudson Kole Barker; special friend: Linda Cornett of Kingdome Come Creek along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Deborah was preceded in death by 2 sons: John Wayne Adams (Little John) and Mark Adams (Bocky); 3 brothers: Rocky Sergent, Johnny Sergent, and Joe Sergent; 1 sister: Phyllis Sexton. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 1:00 O'clock P.M. at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft officiating. Burial will follow in the Sergent/Lucas Cemetery at Thornton, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
