Dennis Wayne Fleming

Dennis Wayne Fleming, 72 of Whitesburg, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dennis was the son of the late Charles "Ted" Kermit and Avanell Senter Fleming. He was a member and a deacon at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife of 42 years: Donna Ruth Jones Fleming; 4 sons: Steven Wayne (Amanda) Fleming of Bossier City, Louisiana, Andrew Scott Fleming of Louisville, Kentucky, Matthew Thomas Fleming of Whitesburg, Kentucky, and Caleb Paul (Stephanie) Fleming of Richmond, Kentucky; 3 brothers: Frank Fleming of Winchester, Kentucky, Roger "Will” Fleming of Deane, Kentucky, and Winston Fleming of Hindman, Kentucky; 2 sisters: Kathy Ison and Rita Mullins both of Jenkins, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren: Brayden, Ayden, Alexis, Olivia, Ace, and Caiden along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Dennis was preceded in death by 1 brother: Kennith Fleming. Funeral 11:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, October 16, 2023, at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Brown officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church.
