Dock Adams Obituary

Dock Achilles Adams passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Bluegrass Care Navigators in Hazard, Kentucky.

Dock was the son of the late Dan Adams and Virgie Smith Adams Stacy.

He was born January 17, 1930 being 91 years, 7 months, and 12 days of age at the time of his passing.

Dock was retired from Blue Diamond Coal Company at Leatherwood, Kentucky.

Dock joined Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church on the 3rd weekend of 1995. He was baptized on the 3rd Sunday evening in December by Elders Homer Smith and I.D. Back.

Surviving are 1 daughter: Judy Lynn Adams and husband Marty of Jeremiah; 1 sister: Coreen Adams Pridemore and husband Don of Jeremiah; 1 grandson: Brian Nichols and wife Lisa of Winchester along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Dock was preceded in death by his wife: Essie Adams; a daughter: Brenda Combs; a grandson: Terry Caudill.

Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Wayne Smith officiating. Visitation: 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Isom Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
