Donald Ray McElroy, 79 of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Donald was the son of the late James Wood and Ethel Mullins McElroy. Surviving is 1 brother: William Larry McElroy of Greenville, Tennessee; 1 sister: Brenda Fields of Dayton, Ohio; 1 son: Brandon McElroy along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Graveside Service: 12:00 O'clock Noon, May 16, 2026 at Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
