Donald R. Sexton, 73 of Hallie, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Donald was the son of the late James B. and Lois J. Collins Sexton. Surviving is his wife: JoAnn Dixon Sexton; 2 daughters: Sherry (Darrell) Halcomb of Linefork and Shelia (Tim) Herron of Hallie; 3 brothers: Rodney Sexton of Cornettsville, Bill Sexton of Lebanon, Ohio, and Lawton Sexton of Blackey; 4 sisters: special sister Colletta "Sis" Bates of Somerset, Linda Amburgey of Letcher, Brenda Caudill of Geneva, Ohio, and Theresa Blair of Blanchester, Ohio; a very special granddaughter: Breanna Sexton Conley and husband Mike of Lotts Creek; grandchildren: Dustin (Cheryl), Caleb (Savannah), Montana, Katie, Donnie, Camden, Shiana, Shelby, and Dillon; great grandchildren: Ryan, Kendall, Grayson, Lyla, Brandon, Mikie, and Summer. Donald was preceded in death by 1 brother: James Preston Sexton. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Elwood Cornett, and Jim Fields officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
