Doris Westerfield Fields, 81 of Cornettsville, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Frankfort, Kentucky. Doris was the daughter of the late Woolery and Annie Cole Back. She was the widow of Billy Westerfield. Surviving is 1 son: Eric Westerfield; 1 daughter: Heather Jent; 1 son-in-law: Roy Jent; 1 daughter-in-law: Michele Westerfield; 2 grandchildren: Shaelyn Jent and Dakota Jent; 3 brothers: Larry Back, Clyde Back and Donald Back; 3 sisters: Linda Blair, Sandy Back-Caudill and Kitty Back along with a host of nieces, nephews and other friends to mourn her passing. Doris was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Sabrina Westerfield; 4 brothers: Dave Back, Jim Back, Mike Back and Basil Back; Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, August 31, 2023, with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
