Doris Ann Mason, 78 of Whitesburg, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center. Doris was the daughter of the late Carl and Margie Boggs Sturgill. She was the widow of Clyde Emil Mason. Surviving is 5 sons: Timothy Lynn Baker of Van, Robert Dewayne Baker of Mayking, Clyde Anthony Baker of Isom, Steven Edgar Baker of Neon and Brandon Kelly Mason of Whitesburg; 3 brothers: James Sturgill of Cowan, Charles Sturgill of Cowan and Doug Sturgill of London; 5 sisters: Helen Brown of Dry Fork, Shirley Mullins of Tennessee, Sue Gibson of Whitesburg, Angie Morris of Whitesburg and Darlene Stidham of Whitesburg along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Adams officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
