Doris Ann (Sexton) Miller

Doris Ann Miller, 86 of McRoberts, entered eternal life on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. She was born April 12, 1939 to the late Robert "Bob" and Siller Sexton. She is survived by 2 sons: Charles (Lynn) Miller of Jenkins and Richard "Ricky" Miller of McRoberts; 2 granddaughters: Carol Harper Miller of Seco and Brittany Nichole Miller of Wise County, Virginia; 4 great granddaughters: Summer (Xavier) Adkins of Jenkins, Riley and Stormie Wilson of Pike County and Kirsten Price of Mayking; 1 great grandson: Aaron Jensen of Mayking and 1 great granddaughter: Willow Mae Adkins of Jenkins and her cat: Blue.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Richard William Miller; 4 brothers: Bryan Sexton, Luther Sexton, Andrew Sexton and Robert (Bobby) Sexton Jr. and 1 sister: Mary Rose.

She was the caretaker for her family. She was a great daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and grandmother but most of all a great mother to her two boys.

The family would like to thank the staff of Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center, Letcher Manor and New Freedom Worship Center.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the New Freedom Worship Center with Danny Quillen officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the New Freedom Worship Center and 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the New Freedom Worship Center. Burial will follow in the Riley Bentley Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky.
